Located about 45 mins away from Kuala Lumpur, Lata Hammer is known for its waterfall that pours into an Olympic-sized pool. After the 1.5-hour hike, you will be rewarded with an unforgettable experience of a waterfall lagoon in the middle of the forest. Grab this opportunity to rekindle your connection with the nature!

Date : 1 September 2018 (Saturday)

Time : 7:30am - 5:00pm

Venue : Lata Hammer, Bentong, Pahang

Meet-up point: Gombak LRT Station

 

Fees: RM 20 (Raleigh KL Member)

RM 30 (General Public)

*Fees inclusive of transport to & from Gombak LRT and lunch

Tentative Schedule *subject to change

0730 - Registration and car allocation

0800 - Depart from Gombak LRT

0930 - Reach Lata Hammar car park area, RIKL updates, ice breaking, briefing on trekking route, safety briefing, etc

1000 - Trek in

1130 - Reach Lata Hammer, safety reminder on the waterfall

1300 - Depart back to car park area after lunch

1430 - Reach car park area, wrap up

1500 - Depart

1630 - Reach Gombak LRT (depending on traffic)

 

Things to bring

1) Atleast 2 liters of water

2) A set of swimming attire + towel/sarung

3) Daypack/waterproof bag (no trolley bag)

4) Own medication

5) Hiking shoe/Kampung Adidas/Sandal

6) Food utensils (mess tin/steel plate/steel mug/spoon/fork)

7) Poncho/rain jacket

8) Head torch/torch light

9) OPTIONAL: Insect repellent/sunglass/suncream/hat/buff/bandana
