Hello peeps, want to have fun, chill and peacefully morning? Introducing Seeds Malaysia, a hidden gem in Klang roughly 40 mins away from the capital. Founded by Razak, one of Raleigh KL's advisors and his wife Intan, it was a land which was abandoned, now planted with flowers and vegetables, and alive with the noise of goose.

 

In this monthly meet we will be learning different way of composting. Food waste will become compost which is organic fertilizer for their plantation. Here, they also have a place for green house planting, where they grow their own vegetable like bay chok and many more with the living soil which is the compost. You get the chance to experience and get your hands dirty in the seedling process giving you an insight of how a green sustainable agriculture look likes.

 

Experience different tiers of farming in a sub-urban setting with an introduction to permanent agriculture with practical lessons such as soil preparation, composting and enzyme making. Learn to prepare and enjoy simple meals prepared from fresh organic produce that is nutritious and delicious!

 

Learn tips and tricks to growing in our half-day workshops that includes a brief on sustainable green living, a tour of our veggie garden, aquaponics, hydroponics, green house, poultry, raised beds, eco office and more.

8:30am – Meet Up @ KTM Bukit Badak Station

9:00am – Raleigh Introduction

9:20am – Ice Breaking

9:40am – Seed Introduction and tour

10:00am – Break to Groups and Start Compost activity

11:00am – Start Green House Planting activity

12:00pm – Lunch by Seed

1:30pm – Clean and prepare to leave

2:00pm – Back to KTM Station

  1. Long pants and Shirt (if you can’t tolerate with mosquito)
