November 2018: Hike, Clean & Paint @ Taman Eko Rimba Kanching Waterfalls

This event is a collaboration with Rotaract Club of Kelana Jaya and Rotaract Club of Advance Tertiary College, under the initiative of Project Ocean Blue.

For those who are already itching for an adventure, great news for you as this month we are organizing a hike, clean and paint event at Taman Eko Rimba Kanching! Instead of just a usual hike, we will be doing trail clean up as well as hut painting in the eco park. If you wish to give back to the community while having fun, this is definitely a must go event for you!

Event Details

Date: 24th November 2018 (Saturday)
Time: 8.30am - 4.30pm (Lunch will be provided)
Meeting point: Taman Eko Rimba Kanching Waterfalls Parking Area
Fees: RIKL member/ Rotaract Club member - RM 15
Non-member - RM 20

0830 Meet up at Taman Eko Rimba Kaching Waterfalls (registration)

0900 Ice breaking and introduction

0930 Work & safety briefing and group allocation

0945 Start work

1230 Lunch

1315 Resume work

1500 Gather, wrap up and stories sharing

1545 Wash up at waterfall

1630 End of event

Things to bring

1. Drinking water

2. Hat (optional)

3. Insect repellent (optional)

4. Sunglasses (optional)

5. Longs sleeve long pants (if you can't tolerate with mosquito)

6. Shoe

7. A change of clothes (if you want to play at the waterfall)
